Github to Codeberg mirror and vice-versa

General notes and instructions on how to mirror existing repositories from Github, Gitlab, etc.. to Codeberg.

I have started moving my private repositories to Codeberg as a fallback in case Github goes down, and to support the open-source community. Luckily, Codeberg makes this process easy and it takes less than 10 minutes to sign-up and mirror existing repositories.
